Members who are registered with the RTR are entitled to enter purebred Thoroughbred and registered TB-cross horses in all RTR hosted shows and events, and they may collect points that add up for year-end awards. In order to compete Thoroughbred-cross horses, owners must register them individually. TB-cross horses must be at least 50% Thoroughbred to be eligible for registration.

X-bred horse: $50 per horse

When a member moves up a "rank" in terms of horse numbers, they must inform the RTR of this and include a cheque for the additional amount needed for ownership eligibility. (eg. if a member moves from Bronze to Silver membership, they must send a cheque for an additional $250 to cover registration fees)
